Wegmans introduces online coupons

Wegmans Food Markets Inc. announced to its Shoppers Club consumers through email that it will introduce Shoppers Club digital discount coupons later this year.

Digital vouchers are paperless promo codes where customers can browse online and clip directly to a Shoppers Club account to redeem at checkout.

Wegmans will pilot Wegmans Shoppers Club digital discount coupons in its Rochester-area and Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, stores starting in June, with a date to be figured out, said spokeswoman Jo Natale.
